Dear child of mine,

I know there are days when we have discussions that evolve into arguments and I just want to say that even in the midst of our anger - I love you!  I know we can get through these moments and we'll be fine but I know how much it hurts both of us when we strike out at each other.  Know that you will always be my beloved child and I have nothing but pride and awe that God shared you with me.  Even when we battle (as we sometimes must) and we are hurt, angry and emotional - a part (maybe just a small one ;-)  ) is proud that you have the ability to stand up for yourself (whether I believe I'm right and you're wrong or otherwise).   You are an amazing child and such a blessing!  Thank you for every day we have together.  God has you in His hands and I'm trusting Him with you and you to trust in Him.
